The Weimaraner Rescue Railroad is an all volunteer network.  Everyone involved works for the best interest of the dog being transported.  There are no guarantees,  or obligations on the part of any volunteer,  coordinator,  or the administrators of the web site.  Any unfortunate occurrences for anyone using the system,  or participating in the system leaves no liability to anyone involved.  This is entirely a good Samaritan activity.

We require that all dogs being transported are first evaluated for temperament,  health and suitability for proper placement.  The rescuer takes on the responsibility for the dog for the whole trip from start to finish and makes all arrangements with the final adopter at the end of the trip.  The Weimaraner Rescue Railroad is merely a free means of transportation used by the rescuer and the adopter and utilizing the volunteer network is solely at the discretion of the rescuer.

The animal being transported must be current on all shots and free of transmittable diseases and parasites.  Any behavioral problems must be fully disclosed by the rescuer to all parties involved prior to transporting.  Behavior problems may include,  but are not limited to:  excessive barking,  aggression toward people or other animals including cats and destruction of property.
